ATL Apparel Market - The Adventures of Holly and Blair

I’m still on a high from my recent trip to America’s Mart in Atlanta with my friend Blair, as we shopped for her boutique.  It was literally a fashion lover’s dream!  Floors and floors, stacked rows deep of the upcoming Spring and Summer pieces you’ll be seeing in stores and online.  

I had no idea what all went into buying for a store, so this was a great learning experience for me. There is so much “behind the scenes” action that people don't see or understand. Like who knew a “run” meant 2 or 3 of each size in a certain item or that shipping was so dang expensive or slow?! I can definitely say I have a bigger appreciation for store owners of any kind, especially navigating today’s worldly woes.

This trip also got my wheels spinning.  While nothing is set in stone, I can definitely say I’m seeing some new ventures in my own future.  I mean, we all know I love clothes, shopping and all things glam!

Here’s a quick vlog of our adventure, and I mean ADVENTURE!  It was one heck of a good time and I have a feeling it’s just the first of my many trips to Market.
