Spring Fashion Trends

Well now that I’ve shared the news of my upcoming boutique launch, it’s safe to say I’m watching fashion trends even closer.  On my recent apparel market visit a few things were evident as I shopped with lots of different vendors.  Here are the top 5 Spring trends for 2022!

Gingham

It’s not just for your picnic tablecloth. From shirts to dresses to accessories, this staple pattern is everywhere.  Bright colors are giving it a rebirth this season.  I’ve linked my personal favorite of this pattern here.

Bold Colors

Speaking of bright colors, the bolder the better.  I mean, is it even Spring if you don’t break out the pink?! I tend to gravitate toward green.  This piece comes in a variety of colors, including neutrals.

Cutouts

Showing a little skin is in!  Don’t get scared. This doesn’t mean you have to wear a crop top.  Tiny peeks of other places are just as trendy and much more age appropriate for most of us.  This fun top has just the right amount of peekaboo.

Every Day Athleisure

If your closet looks like mine, you’ve racked up a lot of this in the last 2 years. No worries, it is still fashionable and widely acceptable in most settings.  One of my staple pieces has been this lightweight hoodie.

White Anytime

Gone is the rule of waiting to wear white after Easter or before Labor Day.  Sometimes us southern gals struggle with this one, but I can promise you I’ll be breaking out the white jeans this week.  If you’re in the market for this staple (I buy new ones every year), these fit in all the right places.

Of course big designer runways included a lot more than this for the season, but these picks seem to be the most fitting for everyday women like us. I would love to know which trend you see yourself wearing the most.  Any guesses which one I might rock?
