Taco Salad Flag
Y’all know I love my “themed” meals. Pair it with my fav food, and I am here for it! Here’s a fun twist on Taco Tuesday for the summer! 🇺🇸
Flag Taco Salad
1lb ground meat (turkey or beef)
1 packet taco seasoning
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
1 cup black olives (halved)
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheese (your choice)
Tortilla chips (for dipping)
Cook your ground meat per usual and add taco seasoning according to package directions. Add meat to the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish. Top the entire dish with shredded lettuce. In the top left corner, make a square with sour cream. Top square with black olives as “stars.” Next, make rows (stripes) across the top of your dish alternating with shredded cheese and your halved tomatoes. Finally, around the entire dish, stick in chips for dipping!
