Summer Bag Round Up
Summer days are here! Ok well almost! So it’s time to get those pool, beach, boat or even vacation bags prepped. Confession…I have a slight bag addiction but there are a few that I keep coming back to year after year.
Beach
This beach bag will not fail you, I promise. Regardless of the age of your kids or if you don’t have any children, the Scout Original Deano Classic Tote will check all the boxes. It is water resistant, made of a lightweight polywoven fabric and can be wiped clean! You can even hose it off and let it line dry. It comes in 35 different patterns so there is sure to be one to fit your style.
Boat/Pool
The first summer we had our boat I legit tried every bag under the sun and hated all of them. Thanks to a random Facebook ad the next summer was saved. The Ritc Beach Tote (large) is the perfect boating bag. It easily holds all the essentials; sunscreen, towels, snacks and has an interior zipper pocket for smaller items. It is waterproof, puncture-resistant (I cram it in the storage compartment) and can be wiped off or hosed down to clean. It comes in several colors and a smaller size for those with less boating space.
Vacation
Vacation means cute bags, right?! I let the practical slide when I go away especially if it’s just the adults. A straw beach bag can serve dual purpose as a purse as well. You know I’m all about saving space when traveling. It’s lightweight and perfect for summer beach parties as well. I’ve had this one several years but linked a similar below.
Splurge
Let me start by saying I do not own this bag but have considered it for several years. The award winning Bogg Bag Extra Large Open Tote Bag is like no other beach bag but it can also be used for a variety of other things, like a small pet carrier, laundry bag, picnic basket, and more. I love the open concept and the fact that it can be cleaned easily. Downfall, no pockets for organization and I can see how sand would easily get on everything because of the holes when at the beach. I do think for the pool this would be a great option though.
