My Must-Have Summer Finds
According to the calendar it’s not “officially” summer, but in my book it is. Thanks to the warm weather here in the south and school ending early due to COVID, we’re packing our bags for the beach. Today, I’ve gathered a list of my must haves for Summer 2020.
Sunscreen
Lips, body, face...now you’re covered from head to toe. These SPF 30 formulas are not only vegan and cruelty free, but also reef friendly! Save your skin and the environment. Win, win! Check them out at HERE!
Tie Dye
Ok, I have a slight obsession with this trend. At last count, I own like 10 pieces. Oops! Tops, swimsuits, coverups, bags, shoes...you name it and it’s tie dyed. Most of my favorites, like this one, can be found at Red Dress Boutique.
Rubber Shoes
If you’re a boater or just a beach-goer, having a shoe that is non-slip and can be washed off is a must. I’ll be using my rubber Birkenstocks for the beach. They have lots of colors to choose from. Sizing note, I went with the Narrow even though I don’t typically wear a narrow shoe. I also got sucked into a Facebook ad, imagine that, which led me to purchase Floafers. These loafer-look rubber shoes are not only comfy but a fun fashion statement. They’re also a small-run business which I love to support.
Tinted Lip Balm
My summer makeup routine consists of “just a tad to not look dead”. My go to products include a BB Cream, mascara and a little color on the lip and cheek. The new Perfect Balm from LimeLife is a staple in my makeup bag. The new Melon color is sure to be my best friend this season. Mask
Love them or hate them, a lot of us are sporting them. While there are mixed reviews of whether or not they’re necessary, it does make me feel as if I am doing my part to not contribute to the problem. Of course I had to find a mask that would be fashionable. In true Holly fashion, I did and even got Aubrey one just in case I have to take her in a store at some point.
