The Details on my *Free* Costa Rica Trip

​If you know me at all you know that I love sun, sand and warm weather. I feel at home at the beach whether it’s locally or abroad. Over the last few years I have been fortunate to travel to several tropical locations both with my job and otherwise. I’ve been home from Costa Rica for only about 5 days, but I’m already planning my next vacay.

Thanks to my amazing company, I was able to spend 5 fun filled day at the Westin Playa Conchal in beautiful Costa Rica. When they say, “It’s a jungle out there”, one is more than likely referring to this place. It was nestled amongst the lush landscape of Costa Rica on the beach in the mountains. You couldn’t have asked for a more scenic location! We awoke to the chirps and sqwauks of exotic birds, the howling of monkeys and the cutest Coatis (raccon like animals) running through the resort each morning. With all the wildlife, I almost forgot I was at a man-made resort.

Of all the places LimeLife has sent me, this particular property was no doubt the most beautiful. Over the last two and a half years, I have been able to earn 3 all expense paid vacations; Puerto Vallarta, Aruba and this year Costa Rica. It’s nice to be able to share products I love and the opportunity that has changed my life with others and not only be rewarded financially, but with gifts such as these trips. The best part...ANYONE can earn these! Rank, time in the company nor experience matter. One of my best “work” friends earned her first trip this year. Seeing her enjoying paradise with her husband was super rewarding for me as not only her friend, but her leader. I love the fact that I can help others achieve their dreams!

Sunny skies, beautiful scenery, tons of friends and fruity drinks...Sounds like paradise, right? Well sort of. Although I earned a trip for two, my husband being my plus one, he was unable to attend. I was blessed to take a wonderful girlfriend with me though. We had some great laughs and relaxed, but it just wasn’t the same without my hubby. He’s my ride or die when it comes to traveling. However, my girlfriends and their hubbys took us in and let us “day date” with them. I mean sailing on a Catamaran in cystal clear water and sight seeing on golf carts sounds more fun than “work” any day, right?

I get asked a lot about my favorite tropical destination. Without a doubt, I will always say the caribbean side of Mexico. It has my heart! Aruba was beautiful. Jamaica was relaxing. Costa Rica was fun. However, there’s just something about our southern neighbors that make me feel at home. Above all, I am thankful that I have the opportunity to visit these amazing places and call it work.
