My Local Summer Fashion Picks
I love shopping local! There is just something about personalized service, a friendly smile and being greeted by name that gives me the warm fuzzies. This week, I’ve teamed up with one of my favorite local boutiques, Rebecca’s of Clinton, to share some summer fashion inspiration. Regardless of age, style or shape, Rebecca’s has something that will fit your lifestyle and budget. Here are a few selections that I think you’ll love!
In the summer, I’m all about cool and comfy. This Hem & Thread patterned maxi ($64) fits the bill for both. I usually have to get all my maxis hemmed, a lot, but paired with Volatile wedges that are super comfy in tan ($58), it’s the perfect length. Need to dress it up? Julie Voss offers beautiful jewelry for any occasion (Bracelet $285, Necklace $135) and the Moon & Lola hoops ($68, size medium) in gold are my go to, every time.
Fun in the sun is the name of the game and this dress with it’s tropical flare is perfect for a vacation at our local beaches or abroad. This Spartina shift dress ($146) is a soft knit, yet structured. Paired with Onyx sandals ($118) for an evening dinner and these MM Spike Earrings ($19.50) you’ll be the talk of the town but in the best way! PS...these earrings are one of this season’s hottest styles!
Date night gets sophisticated with this striped linen shirt dress by The Royal Standard ($42). The Nicole Karla sandal ($99) in taupe gives you a casual and comfy flare to this simple look. The look is completed with Aqua Druzy earrings ($48) and a trio stack of Julie Vos bangles ($85-$145). This look could also be used as a transition piece with white leggings for those cool summer evenings and the sandals are great with jeans too.
Concert season means fun boots, right? These Nicole Nightbloom boots ($74) in champagne spice up this navy Trapese dress short from Sympli ($155). I topped it with the Ava style duster in taupe ($84) and added some color in the accessories with a turqouise stone bracelet ($24.95) and vintage inspired medallion necklace ($48). The Moon and Lola hoops ($68 size medium) are a staple in my jewelry box and are perfect for almost anything.
Finally, I’m all about the casual mom look. These Cello Boho Crop ($38) jean put a new spin on the ankle legnth. They also have just the right amount of stretch for those days when you need some extra room. A simple white tank for layering from JudyPBlue ($66) under the Kyla Tassel Kimono from Mud Pie ($52) add fun and functionality. My favorite piece is probably these Tiajuana Yellow earrings ($24) for a pop of color. And of course you can’t go without these Eric Michaels slip on sneakers ($140) in Jute. They’re the perfect nuetral addition to your wardrobe.
All of these styles and more can be found at Rebecca’s of Clinton (113 Wall Street Clinton, NC 28328). They’re open 10-6 Monday- Saturday or 24/7 at www.rebeccasofclinton.com . Rebecca, Beth & Dodd are always willing to give you a personalized shopping experience with a smile!
