Easter At Home
To say Easter will look different this year is an understatement. Most churches, dining room tables and backyards won’t be filled with people. Rather we’ll be celebrating in our homes with only our immediate family members. While this does make me sad, it doesn’t mean we’re not going to make the best of it. Part of keeping things “normal”, if there is even such a thing at this point, will be an Easter meal with all the trimmings.
Now in true Holly fashion, I won’t be slaving over the stove days in advance. I’ve compiled an easy menu that anyone can prepare regardless of your Betty Crocker skills. In order to have a little bit of “home” I’m including one of my mama’s specialties!
Gale’s Deviled Eggs
One Dozen Eggs (boiled)
2 heaping tablespoons of Miracle Whip
1 teaspoon of mustard
1 teaspoon of sweet salad cubes
1 teaspoon of sweet pickle juice
Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients with cooked, mashed egg yolks. Taste test along the way and add more of any of the above as needed. Note: the Miracle Whip and pickle juice are KEY!! Don’t subsitute or skip those.

With Love,
