5 Basics for Your Fall Fashion Transition
While I’m not ready for the weather transition to Fall, I’m prepping my closet. I can’t believe we are already experiencing cool weather in the morning and heat in the afternoon, and it is time to start thinking about fall clothes. However, I have learned that having a few key transitional wardrobe pieces makes it a bit easier.
I’ve rounded up a couple of staples that will keep you stylish, yet weather and seasonally appropriate. You can easily shop using the links on the images or by the list at the bottom of the post!
This bodysuit has been all the rage on Tik Tok and I have to agree it is worth it! Coming in at under $25 it can be dressed up or down and comes in lots of colors. It is double lined and the cut is super flattering. I’m wearing a size Medium.
A timeless staple but 2021 has given it a little edge. This oversized, distressed Old Navy find is great for those cool mornings. Pair it with a simple top or even over a dress. When it warms up during the day, tying it around the waste makes it trendy yet still functional.
Comfort is key for me but sometimes athletic wear just isn’t appropriate. I love the versatility of a T-shirt dress. It can be dressed up or down all while maintaining comfort and style. I have this one in several colors but of course, the black is my favorite.
You can pair these with an oversized graphic T by day and a satin cami by night for major versatility. They look great with trendy sneakers or booties. The ultra-high rise fit holds it all in and slims.
Cardigan
A good cardigan has always been a staple for me, way back to my teaching days. This Amazon find comes in a variety of colors. I suggest a couple of neutrals so that they go over any and everything you own. Cozy enough for boots and jeans, but stylish enough for a dressier event.
Bonus - I like to buy lots of neutrals and these pieces can be mixed and matched to create a variety of looks.
Don’t worry I will be wearing my swimsuit for as long as I can, but I love getting creative with these pieces and switching up my wardrobe. If you decide to try any of these pieces I would love for you to tell me what you think and tag me in your photos, we can inspire each other to style each piece in different ways.
Ready or not, Happy Fall Y’all ;)
