After Christmas Blues
We made it. It’s come and gone once again; always faster than the last.
And here’s the reality. It stinks.
Why? Because everyone returns to their normal routines. The complaining returns. The ungratefulness comes back. The every day stuff that for a few days didn’t “bother” us is now in the forefront of our minds again. But guess what? It doesn’t have to be this way.
By now you’ve probably started making your list of New Year’s resolutions.
I’m certain some of them include losing weight, being on time, eating healthier...sound familiar? But what if our resolution list looked like this; BE HAPPY.
That’s it. Simply put to be happy with what we have, where we are, where we’re going, how long it’s taking to get there and with one another. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m human and have these same issues, but rather than rush the moment, be envious of others, be impatient and be angry just be happy. I can promise you that someone else is much worse off.
So although it’s easy to be blue now that the holly jolly season is gone, I challenge you to make this year different.
I already know happy will look good on you.
with love,
