Join the Sampson County Regional Medical Center for this event. You can support continued disaster relief efforts while having some free family fun. There will be activities for all ages.
Halloween on the Square-Wednesday, October 31
A safe way to enjoy the ghost and goblins. Trunk or Treat, music, games and more in the heart of downtown Clinton.This even is also free to the public.
Hubb’s Corn Maze
All your fall fun in one place. Hubbs is a hit for the entire family. Whether pumpkin picking, the haunted corn maze (see their website for info) or competitions such as “Tough as a Farmer” there isn’t a dull moment. Eat, play and enjoy this Sampson County favorite. Cape Fear Fair & Expo
October 26-November 4
Just a short ride down I-40 to Wilmington for one of the last fairs of the year. Get your final roasted corn, turkey legs and funnel cakes until next time. Wednesday, October 31 is Preschool Day with discounted admission for children ages 0-5 and special activities just for them. Also, you’re not going to want to miss their first Diaper Derby. Veterans Day Celebration
November 3
In the tiny town of Warsaw, NC you’ll find the longest running consecutive Veterans Day Celebration in America. This year celebrates the 98th year!! The annual event kicks off at 10 am with a parade winding through town. Vendors, food and entertainment round out the day to honor those who have proudly served and defended our freedom.
